Week of May 14-18 This week we will learn about the Habitats of the Desert, Pond, Wetland and Ocean. On Thursday, the students who have met their PBS behavior goal will be walking to the Shellabarger Park for some fun and games! On Friday May 18 at 1:15 we will be welcoming our Dad's (and other special people) into our classroom (or outside if it's nice) for a Root-beer Float Day!!! Week of May 21-24 We will have many different activities throughout the last week of school! On Monday will be our Field Day full of fun! Send in extra clothes for your child in case we get wet from water fun!!! (Rain date is Wednesday 5/23) On Tuesday, Ms. Nieukirchner is planning a Rock-n-Roll day for the students to learn about the genre of music. On Wednesday, I will send home all of the student's supplies so that we are ready for Thursday. I will also send home some special packages for the students and families, so check backpacks carefully! On Thursday, the students will dismiss at 11:45! Have a wonderful summer! |

Thinking of a couple of Dad's from our class...
one has adventured to Oman for 6 months and one is doing training stateside for the next 3 1/2 months. Being without your loved ones is the hardest thing-for all members of the family! My heart goes out to these families. I will take care of your daughter and son during the rest of the school year and I will be a support for your wives. Thank you for your service in the USAF. |

Please continue collecting and sending in Box Tops for our class! I have included a file that has 50 slots for each top - it is at the left of this message. Please print it and use it! We have to collect them in groups of 50 so this helps the PTO with their work load.

Our schedule for specials this year is:
Monday and Friday - Music
Tuesday - Library
*return library books on Monday to ensure they get to check out a new book*
Wednesday and Thursday - Gym
*make sure your child is wearing the proper tennis shoe on this day*
Every Friday is Spirit Day at Beverly Gardens. Please help your child remember to wear their red and/or gray to show their school spirit!
